Sooo finally a shark audio 3500.1 dyno...

Can the dyno tell if it's a piece of **** that will burn up after 5 uses? That is a nice price for that amount of power but I don't trust the amp to last. The prices will go up after they sell a few.

I had a shark 2500 for about 6 or so months i think running .5 ohm with stock alt and a 1 extra battery. Did well for me for the price(i got mine for $100). Never protected or got to hot that i can recall. Did a 145.8 Sealed on the dash(legal) with 1 Dc Xl-18 M1 in my previous hyundai santa fe with stock alt, and 1 extra battery.

I say its a good amp for the $100 mark. but wouldnt buy at the current going price.

No as for the shark 3500, at the $300 price i wouldnt buy it. I would get one of my Soundstream Ta1.3ks before i paid 300 for the shark. Just my personal opinion. I think my Ta3k will make more power then that will and is more efficient.

Yeah, probably be better without them using audiopipe wire inside the amp too. **** pics of the shark 3500 amplifier - Amplifiers - SMD Forum
I swear though, noobs on facebook nutthug this sh*t to the ground and form lynch mobs when you say anything bad about it.
i mean i dont think 2400 watts @ 1 ohm is bad, but i could probably get more power(cheap power lol) @ 1 ohm else were for that money. Example my amp. Heck possibly find a Aq/Sq 2200 for $300. Ive seen some sale used at that price.

BC2000 started out at $289. Look where they are now.
now see for me those are a bit high for a "2.25-k" rated amp, though i know they will do alittle more, but $500?(479 lol)... for that i would search for a bigger used amp, actually i would look for a Used DDm3a or something for $500... Oh how i would love to have a M3 to run at .5ohm on my HD15 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.

Well you can definitely see why the two 1500 boards strapped together was a bad idea. At 1 ohm those boards are seeing .5 ohm each and power is seriously effected due to distortion. Hell at 2 ohm you were seeing almost as much power. If these were still selling for $100-199 it would be a good budget amp. But at current price, hell no.
