Sony XAV-AX5000 Firmware update problem

So I just installed the HU and it has a firmware update. I went on to the Sony site and downloaded the update to a USB and plugged it in and it will not update. Any ideas? I've tried it about 5 or 6 times. I have no idea whats going on. Any help would be appreciated.

I always have hell doing that crap myself .. I tried on one of my Kenwood Double Dins and finally just gave up .. I did my garmin gps with lifetime maps and it works like a champ ... I dont know why decks cant be that simple .
