I want too know, I used to own this deck and to me it by far was the best sounding and performing headunit that I've ever owned. My question is this, I got rid of it because the the blue display was terrible. It didn't matter how I had it set "negative or positive", It didn't matter at what angle the face was tilted. In sunlight the d**n thing would just wash out and I couldn't see a thing. Was something wrong with my deck or was that just the way the display was on that unit? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

The c90 and the c910 both have this problem. IMHO it's a small price to pay for quad 20 bit burr brown DAC's and full copper shielding. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

do you know of any current model decks with similiar features?

Clarion has some dual 24bit DAC's. DAC is a digital to analog converter (analog is what is sent to your speakers so they can reproduce the sound). The higher the bit rate of the converter, the better the sound quality.
