Sony CDX 8800 vs 8815x

After having my entire system jacked I have begun the process of building anew (after Compustar install).

I have narrowed my search down to a low-end eclipse and these 2 sony's

If the eclipse didn't look like sheet this decision would be easier....

So my ? is wtf is the difference between the Sony CDX-8800 and the CDX 8815X

I been online for the last 2 days I can't find anything different other than the red or blue lights in the sides. . The display pics are different for the main display but It looks like they may just be in different modes.... Doesn't anyone know why the different model numbers.

FYI: from Sony

8815x accomodates 45 degree angle and has blue instead of red lights.....
