and to the other guy no i dont think i'm better than him. I've only been playing for 2 years and never get to practice.

and i dont know anything about that dude but playing the drums doesn't make you a musician, it makes you a drummer.

wow... you really do ****, dont you? a musician reads and writes music. drummers dont do that? do they play an instrument? you are definently not a true persussionist. it shows in your piss poor recordings with that garbage band you play in. kick-drum is sloppy, and it sounds like your playing on a 3 piece. bet you cant even read music. probably don't know what a 16th note is. bet you cant even tune your tom toms, or kick-drum.

alot of drummers don't read music, for most it's easier to listen and duplicate, i don't pay covers so there's no need for me to learn to read music

and like i said, i don't know the dude, so i dont know if he writes any of his own stuff, obviously you do, and yes as of now it is a 3 piece band until we find a bass player, what of it?

so what if it was a 3 piece set? i've seen many professional drummers use a 3 piece set and sound really good. size of the drumset means diddly shit.

a 3 piece band would have more bearing on how the band sounds as a whole more than the size of a drumset.

also tell Buddy Rich, one of the greatest jazz drummers of all time, he's not a musician because he doesn't read music.

being able to read music has it's gains, but it's not mandatory

maybe get your drummer friend in here, he might know a little more about drumming that your stupid *** does
