people crying about this are cry babies. a vendor is someone who uses this site as a vehicle to advertise his wares.

So....anyone selling in the for sale area is a vendor according to you.....genius.

no 2 vendors cried im taking there biz. all pm's answered sorry I was super bizy this weekend, working 60hrs a week now and building subs and put new rear struts in summer car. but as always I answer my texts.

I don't advertise I let my subs speak for themselves! I was selling to clear some room out only not to make $ but loose some. I have countless times sent out odds and ends speaker parts to people on here just to help them out, for free. I really enjoy this sport to its fullest and give people what they want a sub that can take a beating!

Thats his choice. We have no issue with that.
The vendor forum was created as a place to allow product and service providers to advertise products and services for the members. Without that subscription you are not allowed to advertise. Its that simple.

I don't recall where it says others can't advertise for him? cause I sure as hell do that a lot, man does serious work and is awesome. Vendors.. eh can go fuck their selves.

******* ordered an amp on ebay from 3 kings, they put a shipping label on the actual amp box an sent it to me , didn't pack the box in a box, it had big dents in it and places gone where other box corners had slammed it. I was pissed and told them about it and got a big 4.99 refund for trouble... wtfux?

i dont see where there should be a problem. when i found out about him, i was told by someone else. i have never purchased anything from him but have seen his subs in action.....i also have never seen anywhere where he has "advertised" his own subs and what not. if he goes and builds custom subs and then turns around and wants to sell it, that does not make him a "vendor". Thats just like saying if i was buying cars and then modding them and then selling, then doing the same thing again over and over.... Would i have to have a dealership license to do that??? No.......... Let them cry, he's not doing anything wrong. No Offense but, If "THEIR" subs where good to begin with, then they wouldnt have any trouble with him "taking their buisness" to begin with.... just my .2

absolutely. you seem to be ignorant of what a vendor is. let me clarify for you.. law dictionaries describe a vendor as "one who sells, esp. real property". regular dictionaries simplify it a bit to something similar to "one that sells or vends".

now, you are either painfully stupid, or making a vain attempt to pick a fight over semantics. id very much like to believe its the latter, but im afraid it may be the former.

now, lets make a happy assumption that you are making a vain attempt to argue semantics, let me clarify EXACTLY what my position is: any person or company that uses this forum as a major form of advertisement for their business (be it main or side venture) needs to pay for a vendor membership. im not referring to you selling one subwoofer, an amp, and your old ipod in a 6 month period. im referring to guys like corey, pro rabbit, zues, s10, etc.

besides all of that, Corey posted what is essentially a "feeler" thread, in the wrong subforum no less. no vendor was butthurt. he broke 2 rules here.

again, NOT an attack on Corey. everything ive read is hes a great guy, and does excellent work. but it is what it is.

As far as I know it doesnt. FWIW I wasnt the person who was contacted about this. Im just clearing up the misinterpretations of the rules.

In the state of IL you would. I've had a few friends who've been contacted about just that thing. Both bought/sold around 10-15 cars in a year....
