The guy wrote almost 50 checks all over town. Once I realized the checks were stolen, my bank stopped payment, reversed funds, and the businesses tried coming back on me to pay for the bad checks, even though not one of those businesses checked the ID or verified the signature. Even with the local businesses at fault completely, it was a legal mess for me. The theif was finally caught when he called and got chinese delivered to his house and paid for it with one of my stolen checks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
