had a customer bring me a 03 pontiac grand am. has a ungo remote start system in it allready, he tell's me he wants the old one taken out and a new one put back it..

well to make a long story short.

the person who installed the ungo system hacked it to shit and back, and if tha car sit's in the sun, it wont start with the key.

i tell him more then likely the person who put the ungo in shorted out the pk3 unit in the bcm due to the car not recignizing the key, when you try to start it with just the key.

i tell him to take it to a dealer and have the bcm checked out. because there is no starter kill hooked up.

he tells me to put my remote start/keyless in, (DEI system) and like i was expecting it wont start with the key when it sits in the sun, due to the bcm.

but my remote system is working perfectly flawless. till you turn the key on and press the brake.

now he has to pay a 300+ bill for being a retard.. and he thinks we should compensate him the money for the system not working....

i tried to tell him even if i pulled the old system out. and if it sat in the sun it still wont start due to the bcm being fried...

he's a retard to. he has a keyless entry i see him walk out to the car and unlock with his key, and he wonder's why the alarm gose of when he dose that.
