:dump:

I can't voice my opinion for desertheat, but I have 3 tens in my car with about 300wrms on each and they sound AWESOME. I will be posting them for sale here shortly as I just picked up 2 15s.........

:end dump:

Love the car man.......always thought they were good looking models......all the other models though...... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sick.gif.b1847c8dabbfeeddbcf1a78052249e10.gif

good luck on your build, I like the way your car looks, are the ID subs the OEM ones from ebay last summer I guess it was? How do they sound?
We were working on a buddies truck today, a 99 Ford F350 crew cab dually, with a 7.3, all the banks stuff plus some other "minor" things, runs very well, but he wanted more power so he got a new turbo, around an 88mm i think it, I dont know the exact size of it, but I know its 3 times larger than the stock one, cant wait till its ready to run, it would already get sideways at the drop of a hat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif
2 words....................PROPANE INJECTION!!!!!!! deisel trucks FLY w/ that....period.

Turbo work is expensive... mine is adding up on the Civic and I'm only shooting for around 225 WHP at this stage in the build (T-25 Greddy Turbo). Of course I'm building the bottom end for later abuse when I want to get a bigger turbo... Crower Rods and custom JE Pistons with polished, balanced, and bearing matched crankshaft.

Scion looks good so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

its not as much the turbo cost as it is the stuff to support them you cant just bolt a turbo on your cars intake / exhaust and be ready to roll you need the supporting mods which add up

agreed, if most people knew the cost to setup a system right, they would run away wallet in hand. The turbo itself while the focus point actually ends up being a small portion of the system cost. I am working with a local company with years of experience building some of the baddest cars in Az. I will be posting pics after nopi phx this weekend, the setup is flat out crazy and the fab work is wicked. No corners cut, no bs. Downside is I have gotten less than 3-4 hours of sleep a night for quite awhile now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Guess it will all be worth it haha.

Oh yeah, it is coming //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I have to wait for the specs to be released by the company I am working with. They are designing kit useing my car as a base. I have been working hand in hand with them since December on the details and build. They have been killer to work with "known them for years" and there skills fab wise are amazing. After looking at the setup in depth when it was all setup, I had to laugh as it made the other turbokits for the tC look so cheap and mass produced.

I see so many kit makers cutting corners to save a dime like useing a 45 degree silicone elbow to make a bend instead of actually building a pipe to match, or going with cheap *** china turbos, or useing steel intercooler pipe *LOL* that always cracks me up. Everything has to flow visually, functionally and still be daily driver reliable. You have to hit on all points in order to go FTW~!

Come over to the dark side.

*LOL* Very very nice car. I dig the new si big time, very hot looking ride... but not a chance in hell. Next ride for me will be a lotus. Hell with the money I have into my tc, I could have purchased a very nice loaded elise. That is very very sad and shitty to think about ! Ah hell, I will have my fun with the tC. Who knows, I might get lucky and some a-hole hit me and total it *LOL* she is insured for the full value of the car and all modifications. But bad karma to think about things like that.

The Elise is a great car, but it's not a very good car for your applications IMO. Being that it isn't a daily driver, the ride quality is brutal, and there isn't much room for your ID's. I was pretty close to getting the tC, had my friend not worked at Honda. Not to mention they didn't have the combo (5spd + White) I wanted.
