I'm looking at some DEI security system accesorries but i'm wondering are they universal or not
1. Pain Generators (really just mini sirens, i thought they actually shock thieves when i first heard about them) They do run on +12v right
2. their trunk release silinoid(sp) can it be activated with a negative ground pulse
3. back up battery it should just connect your alarm by + and - ( i have know idea how it gets charged)
I would get crimestoppers brand but selectproducts have the DEI acessories pretty cheap (the battery from them is 28 dollars and the msrp was like 50 or something0
