Some call me crazy, I say eccentric.

Honestly, without having cranked up this SE yet, my dayton titanic was the loudest I've had in here, followed by the mach 5s, then my RL-P. Haven't really listened to the se to make judgement. Titanic literally broke my shower (somehow worked the showerhead out of the ceramic or wte the plastic stuff is that the mold is made of) it dropped so low.

And thank you bigwheel, how you been?

i live in an apartment, so no loud bass for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i do have a 12" HT sub in the living room, but can't turn it up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

the bookshelf speakers are dayton br-1's from parts express and the reciever is a marantz 2240b (from the 1970's ) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

imo, they work very well together. the dayton's sound VERY good for the price and have plenty of bass for a bedroom-type setup.

Bad♣ss shi† bro I bet your room and erevthing around it vibrates like crazy. What other speakers do you have connected to the receiver when your watching movies?
I don't watch movies in my room, but I use Tang Band 871s full ranges for my mains, and HiVi B3s for my computer.

I think your crazy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
That's what I like to hear.

I have the same chair only in grey suede. I also have the same printer.

In Orlando, I'm using these old Sonys:

They are badass towers and sound very very smooth. I don't have center channel though but they still sound excellent on music and movies. I can't turn it up very loud though because of my roommates.

In Ocala, I'm using running this:

It looks much better now but I can't get pictures. I'm running two Aiwa bookshelf speakers off of my Kenwood headunit and they get really loud. The horn is powered by a profile a200xl amp. It claims about 100rms bridged but it doesn't need or see that much power.

My 'Net access, for a myriad of reasons, is a bit sproadic at best here of late and as to the Australian business....the simple answer is no. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

But! She and I are sick and freggin' tired of being apart so the new plan is that I'm going back to Oz sometime after the first of the year (tentatively set for the 2nd week of Feb at present) and just staying for 3 months at a time until the paperwork has gone through.

You can get a tourist visa which is good for 90 days. At the end of that timeframe I can just take a daytrip to New Zealand (quick plane ride from Australia) while getting my visa renewed/replaced for Australia.

The only real downside to this plan is I won't be able to legally work so I'll be a prodessional bum while awaiting the paperwork wars to be concluded. Hard to be mad at the prospect of being given free reign over a coastal city for an indeterminate length of time, however....
