please help me decide. Butler or DLS

need a little help deciding. Ok so heres my current setup:

H/U:pioneerDex-p99rs

Speakers: Hertz Mille ML3 3-way(tw, 6.5mid, ribbons) and 9" Morel Midbasses

4 Amps: (1)Butler Tube 4-channel(4x100) running tweets and ribbons

(2) Butler Tube 2150(2x150)-one running 6.5"mids and one for and Morel 9"midbasses.

(1) DLS A6(for subs)

My question is should i stick with the Butler tube amp to run the Morel midbass or should i go with a solid state amp like maybe a DLS A3?

I want the best midbass response(quick, clean, punchy bass)

Thanks guys!

I am more of a studio guy, so as far as I can recall tube amps having a tendency to suffer from microphonics in tube designs after using them for some time (that is having noise when the tubes vibrate). I do not know if this applies to these amps too, but is worth a look... Maybe will save you some problems in the future. Sorry I cannot be of any more help.

Technically those Butler amps are solid state also, they simply have a tube in the input stage to add that even-order harmonic distortion that people call 'warmth' which tube amps are known for. So you really are comparing two solid state amplifiers in terms of the amplification stage, thus any preconceived notions you have about which will provide 'quick response' is moot.
