Never made any power, direct swaps with a 1600 brutus and the brutus outperformed in every case. only thing changed was the amp, only way it actually played any bass was if the gain was extremely high with bass boost on. If the gain was just high without bass boost, door speaker's midbass sounded louder. This was bought new. While the brutus reached input voltage on the dmm with 50% gain, the hybrid didnt reach ac voltage for 2000 watts at all. Highest was 36 volts ac with everything maxed. Might have been bad off the production line, but others have experienced the same as me. I RMA'd that amp and traded the new one in with vertex audio.
