never gonna happen in our lifetime. decades gone by and we just now are starting to use solar power for water heaters/homes. good idea but will not happen on major highways. think of the cost...billions upon billions upon billions for this ****. surprised it took this long to get to this forum. we were supposed to be in flying cars already according to the 80's movies. just getting into electric cars now. what a huge pipe dream. may happen after ww3

there is a post on caco about this, Im all for it if they can make it happen my boss just saw that video on facebook at lunch
There is a reason why stuff like this does not take off to many people go oh that cant work so lets not even try, I work at a state university so state tax dollars have run this place, we had a lighting company come out and over to retrofit 5 million dollars worth of lighting to led fixtures and they showed the university directors what the cost savings would be over 5 and 10 years the savings was unreal, all the company wanted was a 10 year contract of 10% of the energy savings they would retrofit install fix all broken existing lighting and wiring with a licensed contractor already doing work on this site so its a trusted and bonded company for free up front, only the 10% savings check and they said no we dont think it will work, we just dont see how we will save much money ARE YOU KIDDING ME
Thats government jobs that cause things like this not to work
They finally agreed to let them install 4 new light poles and lighting in a area to show them the capabilities after they were informed the candle rating between poles was far to dim from their crappy old setups that if someone was to get hurt or ***** in that area the university would be sued and lose due to insufficient lighting
