An engagement ring. Not a cheap one. Whether she likes it or not as far as I'm concerned that and giving her the wedding she wants covers me for her b-day (yesterday), Christmas, our anniversary (Jan 11), and Valentine's day, possibly next year's birthday too. Beyond that I have a stack of greeting cards in a drawer which I will pull out one at a time, sign, and present on the proper occasions. I picked up a Corsa performance catalogue with the exhaust I want for my 09 Tundra Crewmax for Christmas and have made it a point to leave it laying around. Tryin to continue a tradition started by a buddy, who told his girl if he was shellin out money to put a rock on her finger the least she could do was buy him a nice recliner as her wedding present to him.

I'm actually in the saving up money for the ring phase. Gf says not to get her anything for any occasion and instead to put what i was gonna get her and deposit it for the ring fund. She hinted to me awhile ago that she wants some "boom" and just found an IDQ on CL for 40. haha. it'll be installed soon.
