So my Clarion DXZ745MP is "sirius ready" What does that mean?

Sorry for the dumb question but I have searched and cant really find what I was looking for (on here and sirius.com) So my Clarion is "sirius ready". This means what exactly? Is this like having an ipod interface ready deck in that I dont have to mount one of those little tuners somewhere and I can control everything through my deck? Sorry for the run-on sentences.

you need to get the clarion sirius tuner and then you should be able to control it through the deck.

its commercial free satellite radio. like mike said, you have to buy the tuner and then i think there is a monthly service fee

Okay, I know what sirius is. Its just the equipment I'm confused about. Whats everyones opinions on the piggyback systems like the tuners you can take out of your car/put in your home, etc.
