Did the same thing about a month ago. GF has a habit of calling or texting at inopportune moments and without thinking I fished the phone out of a pocket while standing over the toilet. In it went. I fished it out. What's really bad was after I washed it a bit I went to Verizon for a new one and tried to get the guy to get it to fire up long enough for the numbers to transfer over or to recover them in some other way. I told him I just dropped it in the sink then handed it right over. Does this make me an a-hole???

Same thing happen to me last week, but mine was an iphone and i only had it for 1 month, good thing i got the insurance for it.

Just take it apart and let it dry for 24-48 hours and try it again.

Don't like the idea of them unless the IPOD stays as a backup. If I loose or break a phone I damage one thing. If I loose or break an I phone I damage two things.
