well i got 2 bits for it so far...one is a 1/4 round over and the other is like 1/4 straight cut or something like that but why is it when i do the round over i get like a straight line also? like i get the round over but there is a straight line above the round over? also do you guys use like jasper jigs (iirc?) for cutting perfect circles??? where should i get them? and should i get a different straight bit? im new to using a router //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif and yes i see now that i should have gotten like the 1/2round over lol. also do you guys have any problems using the round over bit and the screws being in the way?

You have to adjust the plunge to not get that line. And yes i use a jasper you can get them from parts-express.com and you will need a 1/4 spiral upcut bit to use with the jasper to get perfect circles. I use a 3/8 roundover bit.

1/4 spiral upcut bit okay...and how does the jasper work? when i looked at one it was just like it rings and i guess you just reace in the rings? (saw the pic on line) but how do you keep the jasper in place?

You connect the jasper to the bottom of your plunge router where there is probably a plastic piece currently. Get the spiral upcut bit put that on. Than to get the circle it comes with a little pin type thing which you find the center of the piece of wood than drill a hole put the pin thing in there than you find the measurement you want on the jasper. Put that on the pin mark and plunge your touer and make a circle. I usually do 2-3 pieces each time going a bit deeper in the wood to not dull your blade or snap it.

any other box building tips "getlikeme"??? like do you ever have problems with the screws when doing a round over? or anythign like that?
Its always good to roundover before using screws. Screws are mainly just to let the glue dry. If you dont have clamps.

The 200 is the one i use more. the 400 i use mainly for only cutting small circles or small baffles. Get the 200. Or if you can get the combo. Also make sure your router is capable of using the jasper because some are not. It says on parts-expresw which can be used with it.

ya i dont have clamps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif so i nor mally put the glue on then screw it up....i guess i could always just take the screws out when its dry and i wanna round it over...
