Nope, no ice storm. Some of the melted snow did freeze though and that made it pretty slippery.

The weird thing is last week I woke up for class and it was pouring rain. Now this weekend we get almost a foot of snow. weird.

Looks like i'm gonna be busy shoveling today.

Cedar Rapids was blacked out all Saturday night and most of Sunday. It blew, but at least there was a nice sized party out on the street.

they did here. 12" is enough to close them since everything is spread apart.

10 inches of snow is alot here ,most we've had this winter, most of it has been like 3 inches, and the 2 major blizzards usually always happen near the end of winter like more freezing rain and ice and snow todayz

We're sposed to get another 12" by Friday here. The central part of MN is sposed to get almost 2 more feet.

Yeah, schools get closed alot around here. Its pretty rare for my college to close though. Mostly its just teachers that can't get here that cancel their classes when it gets bad.
