Thinking about getting into the sport. Use to skate for 2 years, so y not lol. I'm planning on getting this setup. Honest opinion, how is it. Ride board and K2 bindings.

He doesn't know the model of the board or bindings, If you guys could figure that out by taking a look I would appreciate it!

Thinkin about offering $95....If you guys approve. Thanks

or should I just make an offer on the board? for... $____ and get better bindings?

I'm confused...I asked him if they were step in bindings, like the ones on cheap walmart boards. He said "The bindings are step ins and regular...u don't have to use the step in" Someone explain this?

Pretty good equipment. Ride has always made good boards and K2 makes decent stuff. Seems like a steal already if it is in good shape. How tall are you though? Thats a pretty short board

He said it's in good condition. He just got a new board.

I'm about 5'10 and wieght 140-145. I tried, I can't put on any wieght it seems lol.

I was talking to my friend (he's about the same built as me) and said he has a 151 and likes it more because its easier to whip around.

Yes that is true, a shorter board will be more maneuverable but much less stable which will make it harder to learn. You are pretty light which also plays a role so that size probably will work out ok. I have a 157, and I am 5 11 about 200 and I would say it is perfect for me

Yea I tried that online board size calc. It said somewhere between 150-154 i believe.

I'm about to send the text and offer him $95, think I should offer less? Like $90? I don't want to insult him lol

I think 95 would be a steal already. That is good equipment. For reference my board and bindings were well over 500 new so you are getting a great deal for good stuff

Ride is good but k2. Not so much. I have a Burton bullet with white Burton custom bindings. Doesn't have a lot of flex too it but I like it. If you get new bimdings get ones that strap, not step in. And get toecaps. Tons of extra manuverability.
