i wanted to do that to my 84 regal when i had it. what all are you having to do besides get all the nasty adhesive off, and grind down the nubs for the aluminum trim?

its actually a bytch to do....had to rip off the top, strip the paint/ adhesive, grind off the rivets, take out the side windows, will have to take out the back window and find a junk hardtop car to get the trim and the back glass out of, they are actually different sizes. also there is a strip of metal betwwen the trunk lid and the back window that must come from a non-vinyl car. Then you got to either drill holes fore the clips or silicon the rear trim around the window. not to mention all the body work to smooth out the factory seams that they don'

t finish because the vinyl covers it up

I own and drive a 04 Cadillac ext and a 2002 lexus rx300. I am 8 days from turning 17 and bought both cars with my OWN money. So yeah. But I don't show off on the internet even though I know I could with compliments. What do you drive a 02 park avenue?please

um i dont own anything special- 04 navigator ultimate on 24's and a 99 xjr (trading in soon)oh yeah- and a house. im not the one who came into the thread bashing ANYONES cars... lets see pics of your stuff... i can back everything i say i own.. id like to see you say that..

x2 and x5 on the bullshit. just because your parents own the cars doesnt mean you own them. but bones nice cutty! them are some nice wheels too. what do you have under the hood.

thanx, keeping it original under the hood for now. 3.8liter 231. But they make tons of aftermarket power add-ons for that motor. Essentially the same block as the grand national.

yea i knew they didnt do any body work under them at the factory. that sounds like a real pain in the *** lol

thank you....i don't put too much stock into little kids ranting man. i wish i had more money to spend but it just doesn't come for me that quick, i make $25/hr but i have 2 kids 1 on the way, a dog , a bird, a wife, 3 cars and a house. So something has to suffer and that would be my audio obsession. But i can say i own it and its paid for:naughty:
