its where a snail lives...

it looks like a little spiraled rock but its hollow, and a snail can curl up in there when it is threatened.

Bose uses something like it for the Wave Radio...but they've hardly cornered the market for it.

They work, trust me...horns have been in use since the '20s, and while the theory on them is still arcane, they kick *** in practice.
