snail shell for my xxx15 need help.......

this guy has a niffty snail shell design for his xxx12. and i was wondering if that'd work for a xxx15 butjust increaseing the height to acomodate the 15's size.....or would the internal design change as well???

no, no it MOST LIKELY would not work. transmission line and folded horn enclosures are completly dependant on a speakers paramaters, and using a different speaker (even if its the same line, but a bigger size) will change the paramaters and change the effect the box has on the speaker - you could expierement, and give it a try, but i cant tell you that you will get good or bad results.

but if you fell ambitious, you could try it.

well i dont feel like putting a crap ton of labor into something that wont give promising results....thanks for the help
