Why does that say a lot? Because he is (semi) famous? Ive smoked more than him, guaranteed. Ive probably smoked more than half a dozen Jamaicans combined. No, Im not bragging, I am not proud of it, but its true none the less.Wiz has had weed from all over the globe. He said in this interview the absolute best bud he's ever had is Kush from CALI. Of course this is his personal opinion but it says a lot

This is true. Why does that say a lot? Because he is (semi) famous? Ive smoked more than him, guaranteed. Ive probably smoked more than half a dozen Jamaicans combined. No, Im not bragging, I am not proud of it, but its true none the less.
THC content is measurable. Ive seen the books Cali dispensaries can order seeds from, which lists by strain, and THC content (again, the potential content). Ive had more types of Kush than I care to remember, and yes I have (legally) cultivated several Kush strains. I personally really really like Kushes, most of them gave quite a pleasant effect. There are some relatively new strains that are very potent. White Russian, Warlock, Blockhead, and a few others have THC content (potential) in the mid to upper 20's%. There is another new strain, whose name Ive forgotten, whose content is incredibly high (like 40%), but again Ive forgotten the name. Most Kushes, if Im remembering correctly, are in the 15-20% range. This, much like reading rms specs on subs, is not a guarantee of effect, as the chemicals in pot (not just THC) affect different people differently. My point is, some rapper saying he likes Cali Kush the best, is not saying a lot, its not saying anything conclusive other than we now know what some rapper likes. I have my personal favorites, and I even use to have a strain I have never come across anywhere else that was *fantastic*, but my personal opinion means just as little as the opinion of some rapper from the Jew neighborhood of Detroit. I take that back, at least I know more about it than simply having smoked it, which is probably the extent of his knowledge.
No, I no longer cultivate, I dont have a medical card anymore, I dont live in Cali anymore, and I dont even smoke anymore (ok, maybe once in a blue moon). I normally would keep my info above to myself, but it pisses me off that the govt's war on this substance has created such ignorance and fear of it. So if I can do some little part to combat that, I will.
Small amount of info from site linked above.Contrary to popular belief, cannabinoid profiling isn’t just about finding the highest possible THC content in plant material and other forms of medicinal cannabis.
More than sixty distinct cannabinoids may impact the effects an individual experiences following administration of medicinal cannabis. In fact, even if a compound is not psychoactive, it is likely to still have tremendous effects. Cannabinoids are thought to have numerous synergistic interactions with one another within the body that are not fully understood and that do not take place with the sole administration of THC.
Cannabinoids are groups of chemical compounds present in the cannabis plant that affect body and mind through their interaction with special receptors. These cannabinoid receptors are found extensively throughout the immune, digestive, reproductive, central, and peripheral nervous systems of humans (and animals), and their activation is what leads to the medicinal effects of cannabis.
