I lost all respect for corey taylor when he created stone sour. Slipknot these days just gives me a headache, I feel sorry for you having to bear it for a couple hours at an insanely high volume.

PS Cory was in SS before Slipknot.

Iowa was a good cd, Subliminal Verses was abysmal, I am actually digging the new CD. Dead Memories is a great song.

ive been saying that for a while! They didnt sound bad but he looked like Bret Michaels of Poison. The gimmick that is slipknot is played out, mudvayne too for that matter

Seen Mudvayne and they put on a good show. Will never go to another slipknot concert again. Worst shit ever! Not sure if it was them or the equipment, shit was ear bleeding!

I still can't hear right due to that ish!

I do like their older stuff though, but ever since Stone Sour, I don't know. Seem soft to me.

Either way, back in the mid-late 90's in the beginning, they were alright. They've just lost it and gone way commercial. What they make just sounds like noise to me now.

There getting up in age, some are high 30s, low 40s.

I figured, they can't rock forever.

So I want to see them once, so therefore I am going.

If its so bad, at least I went.

Hell, they have only made 4 albums in over 10 years. Sic, and Iowa being right back to back.

Then 3 years Till vol 3, and 4 until all hope is gone.

I just can't beleive they'll make 3 more albums.

Maybe a greatest hits one, and maybe 1 more. If that.

That's the way I was thinking of things when metallica was here, but then I decided I'd rather miss out on the experience totally than see what they've become vs. what they were.
