Skar Audio VVX-10

Im going to get two barely used Skar Audio VVX-10 working for $300 in a Pontiac Bonneville 2003 SSE.

How loud do these get? I will be using a Soundstream RUB1.1600D, and will be wiring the two DVC 4ohm into a 1ohm load, which the amp is rated at 1600W rms; Ive heard that people can push 900-1200W rms per sub and it will handle it just fine!

Is my wiring strategy suitable, and will pushing 1600W to two of these damage them? Im hoping to get some vehicle flex in my tank of a car.

HUH?...I am sure if you saved a couple more bucks, you could prolly get them new....and as far as flexing anything, im sure something is going to vibrate enough to correlate with the frame rate on your cam and....nevermind...maybe someone else can answer your question....good luck!

The vvx 10s should do you nicely on 1600 watts.

By flexing i mean visible rattling of the outside of the vehicle

I have a perfect box that meets the specs for 2 10s, 12s i would have to buy or build, and 15s my trunk would not fit.

I just hope the tinsel leads dont break! Every sub i have had so far has had at least one tinsel lead break.

I don't think that will be a problem with the Skar's, I just got my VVX10 last week and the tinsels are beefy as hell!

check skar's b stock. I got mine for a lot less than 300.
