No, it's the truth. If I'm going to be an engineer, I don't need 3 years of English. That's my point.Really bro? Did you learn that in the t-shirt factory?
Community college is so much more relaxed than a 4 year college. Professors there actually have been outside of academia.4 year schools are the bomb. my gf went to one and it was great just chillin in the dorms. but i go to a 2 year community school lol
You don't need to know what books children should read and how to write them for engineering. Of course classes like Professional Writing are pretty much a must. And why is that? Do you not think that your future employer expects you to be literate?
Well, if you were good at English, you'd test out of it. I only have to do one semester of English and I'm majoring in electrical engineering. No, it's the truth. If I'm going to be an engineer, I don't need 3 years of English.

An engineer needs to be literate. Is "This product be good yo, I got lotsa math to prove that shiz gonna work well" a good proposal for your employer or potential business partner? Nope, you need to be well spoken, and have a comprehensive vocabulary to appeal. A well spoken idiot is going to be chosen before a genius that speaks like English is his second language.
I've been through high school, and many of the graduates can't speak English well enough to have an intellectual conversation, let alone deliver proposals of their new products or ideas to a financial backer.
