To the original post, I ordered a 270 from singer 5 weeks ago after being told that expected delivery would be 2-3weeks. I payed the invoice immediately when he sent it and on invoice it was changed to 3-4 weeks. Not a deal breaker as I don't mind the extra wait for a quality product. Last week I emailed asking for a status update as it had been 4 weeks and no contact from Mike & no alternator. He emailed me back saying he would be shipping it out last week. Not sure what's up but I still have no alternator yet and am getting concerned. Everyone here always talks about the great customer service and I understand that sometimes things happen but not everybody seems to be receiving that. At this point I am unhappy and hope that when and if I do receive an alternator that it performs as expected....
