I had bad voltage drop.  I have upgraded to a 240amp alt and my truck will only charge at 14.4 or higher in the mornings. After it warms up I can't get it over 13.9. I did this with my stock alt also. I replaced battery a few weeks ago. I have a 3 wire plug on my truck. I assume this is just typical and ****** luck haha. Voltage drop is minimum with all accessories on and radio playing. Stays in the 13.7-13.9 area.Anyone have any experience with this or suggestions. I don't want to go to an external regulator if I can help it.</blockquote>
