I know I have no power, but IMO sigs are stupid and pointless. No, I dont care what car you drive or what equipment you are running, especially after your 10th post in the same thread... Plus it gets rid of the whole sig size problem, not that that couldnt be coded into the board anyways.

I can see your point, however it is an opinion...but if you know you have no power whats the point in making an issue about it...

I say yes only because many abuse the sigs. A small tasteful on is cool and I like to see them, but if people can't get it through their head that it shouldn'r be a mile long or in bad taste then they should just do away with them.

I think you guys should do what they do on Maxima.org. You can only post your sig ONCE PER PAGE in any given thread. Cuts down on sigs nicely.

I personally see this thread as pretty pointless. If you dont' like them, go to your User CP and disable sigs from being shown. So people who like sigs can see them, and those who don't like them (aka yourself) don't have to.

I personally see sigs and avatars as being a bit helpful. When someone makes a quality post, you can identify them over time by their avatar and sig. The oversized sig is what gets me. I do not like oversized sigs, and I feel those with oversized sigs should have their sig removed.

i voted to keep them. just put a size limit. like they did at my old home. like 500x150

i have seen many times that a mod has told someone to change it or it will be deleted...i guess it depends on the mod...

User CP > Edit Options > deselect "Show Signatures" under "Thread Display Options" header

Problem solved. If you don't like them, turn it off so you don't see them.
