Can anyone give me the ins and outs of what this is and how it makes a better sound system? Is this how I can get an MP3 to sound as good as a regular CD?

you can get an mp3 to sound like a horribly POS recorded CD....

if u tune it to your mp3, its fine. make it sound good with ure sound processor.

before i got my audiocontrol eqq? i think (model number) i hated my mp3 sound

just tune it and itll sound good.

unless the mp3 is just completely horribly recorded =p

MP3's are compressed files and should never sound as good as a cd (imo)
