The box is ALMOST to small, esp the port. Build a new box IN the car if you have to to get more space for those puppies and do a bigger port. That'll get you even more dBs out of them.

I think treo are one of the best subs out there im bumping (1) ssx 15" in custom box set at .5 ohms with a american bass cx1500 that is giving it 2100w rms power and man it will take your breath away then in the wifes car i have (2) SSI 15" with orion amp with 1700w rms and man you cant beat treo they will take a beating and the reason i know this is i started out with (1) 12" ssi set at 1 ohm it is rated at 750w rms and i put 1700w rms to the sub and it took it all day long any other sub would of blown

I ran an SSi 15 in 2.5cu ft at 30 hz on 1200rms daily, it could have taken more. By far the best sub I have ever owned. Sq was outstanding, especially on low notes, and rated power handling was vastly underrated. I currently run the TSX series, and while they are not quite as good as the SSi's, they are still one of the best "400rms" subs I have heard. (That rating also seems underrated)..Treo seems to be slightly more sq oriented then spl oriented, but Treo does make some big boys also. Have seen a 149.x done with a single csx 12...My ssi was probley about 140, which is **** good for tuning at 30hz...Currently running a TSX 12 at 34hz on a "150rms" treo amp, and I figure its doing around 133 or 134....Great products, pricey but worth it if you have the money, and if not, buy used.

i ran a treo SSX 18 D2 in a 45hz box daily it was amazing with rock and some higher punchy rap...... it sounded amazing for a 18 on rock

I have had an SSX 18 and 10 at different points, Also have an ssx 125.2 and my brother has the 750.1 could not be happier with anything they put out for sale. will buy and buy again.
