i used to throw my cat up in the air above a mirror and watch it slam to the ground. That a a FYI, if you tie 2 cats together by the tail and put them over a clothes line they will fight each other to the death. That I havent done but my friends dad is a little ****ed up, he also burried an annoying cat up to it head and ran it over with the riding lawn mower.

What did they do? I am sure they didn't tell their kids to go out and set fire to an animal. I am sure they thought they were out playing or something.
Should the parents face penalities, yes, but only because they are legally responsible. However, it is silly to think a parent is inherently omnipotent.

90% of the time the parents ARE the ones at fault. you know why?? coz they stick up for them when they are 100% in the wrong instead of punishin their a$$ by the law! thats whats screwed up these days

im not saying you cant stick up for your kids, but sometimes life lessons are better taught when they get the sh!$ scared out of them by the law instead of dumb parents making exuses for them

These kids need mental help... killing animals while young is a good sign of future bad behavior..

That being said it's a dog, who can't cognate and is not self aware... so it's not like the kids need to be in jail forever, or be killed. They just need some serious psychiatric help. When they are older they will be haunted by this if they do indeed become well adjusted human beings.

That just made my stomach turn. How can you set a dog on fire? I can't imagine someone doing something like that to my dog that has been an amazing companion since 8th grade. It makes me sick to know those kids could do something like that to a defenseless creature.

How often does this dad beat his children or wife? He sounds like such a tough man.

Animal cruelty is the weakest shit a person can do, short of **** and hurting children.

When I was 9-13 I was too busy riding my bike or playing videogames to think "oh man, It'd be totally ****ing awesome and badass to hurt a creature that has no way to defend itself". Stupid kids, and stupid parents.

glad it wasnt my cat or dog. put that on my life that guy would be dead.

i can only hope he goes into iraq and gets his head sawed off by terrorists.

Cruelty to animals needs a more severe punishment nationwide -

I think its pretty serious stuff to burn an animal like that,and lack of respect

to another living creature........I think the parents should be fined 1000.00 and have the monyes donated to a local animal shelter and I think those kids need a shrink
