Kind of unreasonable to think the dude would know those off the top of his head. But, he should have said, "don't know, let's get a manual and find out." One thing about most of the guys at those shops, not just big box, but small indy shops too. The guys that work for em' just aren't "in" to car audio like they were 5-10 years ago. They're just kids who need jobs. It sucks.

I notice CC always pushes MTX, and it's funny because all their circulars only heavily advertise Sony Xplod.

I too wanted to hear an Infinity Reference, but the guy only wanted to show me the MTX 12" and the Dual 10" prefab setup.

Ours does not push MTX what so ever. If anything we all try to push kicker because it is the best we carry. Most idiots come in wanting the sony xplods and abahns because tehy look "cool".

The CC here is just as bad, I went in there the other day, just to look around and see what they had, and while i was in there all this one salesman would talk about is how good that DUAL prefab10 setup that they had. The only thing i will even consider buying at BB or CC is HU's only cause they carry alpine and pioneer.

Anyway, I always see negativity on here towards car audio places. Don't you have any small "mom and pap" type stores? The ones here actually have some good products as well as a fewproper salesmen and installers.
