SI BM 12" worth reconing??

i have 12" stereo integrity BM, one coil is out and the other is right behind waiting to go....

i have got a quote for turning this thing into a 15" for $120ish. im not sure what it cost to keep it a 12" if its not much cheaper i will just stick with making it larger...

but really my question, is this thing even worth it? or should i just spend my money another way?

As of now there is still only 1 version, the new one is still being finalized.

As for a recone, who did you find to do it? They use a really oddly sized VC that most places can't recone.

didn't know that. so it must be only the mag's the had different versions. dave might be able to make some if you get the sizes off the motor. but, i havn't seen him in quite awhile.

There is a BM V2 in the works, a few prototype pictures were even posted here, but that version had a few problems with it that had to be fixed, and those fixes involved tooling new, completely unique parts so it is taking quite awhile to get finished.

There is a BM V2 in the works, a few prototype pictures were even posted here, but that version had a few problems with it that had to be fixed, and those fixes involved tooling new, completely unique parts so it is taking quite awhile to get finished.

I've heard that the the bm v2 is coming along very nice and should be available to the public mid summer if everything works out.
