I would Say The Exact opposite..If you have $20.000 to invest in your Vehicle..then you have it for rims. Thats why so many pieces of Crap roll on Dubs, it's a fad...Wheels are the first purchase of a "wanabe" custom car enthusiast, Everyone knows you can afford rims when you have a $5000 stereo and a $1500 lowering job., it draws attention when you have "Yet to complete the wheel package". I would say most people view Customs on Stock wheels as "A Work in Progress"..A Stock vehicle like a Denali and Escalade look like you got the rims already on the truck from a dealership but the owner can't even change thier own oil or name the wheels maker. You live in L.A. Supa C, you know how it is..Everyone has 24's on thier $4000 1996 Honda..Dubs are played out here like the beach. they say "less" about your ride than "more" maybe not 5 years ago..but MTV cribs gave nice Wheels a bad name

my rims will be 2K.

My whole set up is not even 5K.

If i drop, im gonna do it the right way and bag it.

First off that will look sweet on your Suburb..My Fiance's Mom has alot of loot and we might be getting the Black/Grey Denali if I kiss ***.And don't get me wrong..I will take a set of "nice" 22's in a second..I am just saying you can tell a ride that has alot of Trick and custom stuff and the guy Purposly rolls on stocks.

In Fact CHRIS ROCK did a Hillarious skit on this subject. It was on his most recent HBO comedy special where he says the Reason Poor People stay poor is because anytime they get money the get DUBS to "look" rich..That they will put 20's on a toaster....It's a great social commentary..

I mean you and I want some sweet rims..but nowadays getting sweet rims is more an indication that your "trying" too hard.

I know what you mean though..and very often I see these rides where the guy can obviously not afford nice dubs..but usually they don't roll stock but have those Cheap "Recycler classified" 20's for $500 for 4.

I have seen some **** nice rides and the guys have kept thier stock rims for years..not until they can afford Dubs,,,just until they see Dubs worthy of thier ride.

they are not "bling bling" rims.

My burb is 2 tone silver(on top) and black(on bottom)

the rims are mirrored steel and powder coated.

A buddy of mine played Pro Football and owned a Dually EXACTLY like this but gave it to me to drive during the football season. IT WAS all Corvette yellow and the lic. plate said LMN DROP.

Nice Fosgate System too..He had 2 chrome RF Power 1000's (THAT THING BUMPED HARD!!!

YEA...Chevy/GMC full sizes are one thing (rather than Systems) that I am pretty knowledgable about..That is a unique set up..VERY!! Was that Stock??Can't be.

I bought my Truck Brand new in 1992 at Age 19 (parents co-signed). I have so much sentimental value in that thing it's ridiculous. In 1992 You could not Get Black with Gray interior only TAN..After that they ALL came with Gray..I also had a special ordered gauge package and Rearend geaing..At the time I thought I had a rare truck..But it's weird .Not many people know it but my trucks options were not available till 1993..so it's unique in that way because it's a 92??

That knock could be trouble Supa C (you know that)..One thing I am looking to get and you should also is this Kit from EDELBROCK..it is an Aftermarket Fuel injection kit that is like those on Camaros. I am going to rebuild my motor with these "Semi Hi performance" Edelbrock equip..It's a great power package and cheap..GREAT MILEAGE and GREAT Throttle response..Excellent upgrades for our trucks yet your 97 came with better Factory engine stuff than my TBI junk

Another thing I love about my babe..It's a 1992 with only 85.000 pampered miles. I have only needed to replace the Alt and a Battery..No other issues in 14 years

im pretty shure it was from no oil pressure.

i told my parents but they blew me off, now its come back to bite them in the but !

EEWWWW those corners dont match at all.

get a new clip with the 96+ style.

I actually did the same with a 1984 Suburban..The Engine light was broke so it was always on..sure enough it was on for a good reason one day cause I was outta oil.... and I ignored it..At the 405 and 101 interchange at 70 mph...BOOM..Knocked like a MoFo
