shiva vs. RF Punch3 vs. JL W3V2

the resonant evil SE's sound awesome... way better than

JL W3v2's which i used to have... once before i said that

after hearing RE SE's you may as well use JL W3v2's as

a bowl for your cheerios... someone else said frosted flakes...

either way... RE = fVcking great subs!!!

What type of sound do u want? spl?sq?sql?

what type of box is it going in?

what type of car do u have?

How much are u trying to spend?

i want strait spl but i want rele good sq

more then likely in a ported box so i could get more spl if i got somethin like the shivas

what is better shiva or JL W3v2?

then out of those 2 is it better then the RF punch 3?

ill most likely be getting the shivas cus they can hit and have very good sq while doing it. but i jus wanna see in comparison everyones opinion.

if you want SPL dont get the JL's...

and dont disregard the RE SE's... they are 370$ for 2 12"'s shipped...

not bad considering you could pay 440 for JLs retail...

maybe one RE SX would do you just fine... i think they are

270 for a 12" shipped... that will give you plenty of SPL and

thanks to RE just plain kicking *** im sure the SQ is just

fine... RE claims that the SX is what a daily driver sub should be...

plus an SX would enjoy the ported box more than the JLs or the RE SEs...

the shiva sound like it would be ur best bet. Oh by the way u say thing it sound like u an SQL set up. ABout 70% spl and 30% sq. But u have very limit space to. BUt with an budget like that get an RE XXX or an memphis mojo, Death penatly LI. I mean u got alot of choices.

yea ill jus go with shivas i guess...cus i kno theres better stuff out there but they are alot of watts, which isnt bad, its jus it costs alot IMO to run somethin like that. runnin with shivas only requires low power and doesnt require a big budget amp. amps are where all the money comes in. and sq is what i like and its somethin that can still hit. besides ill still stomp everyone i kno with their circuit city subs and amps and with their basic rockfords and pioneers and kenwoods..etc. so tell me if i got this right?....shiva>jlw3v2 or what?

well u can how much watts is take for an sub to reach its peek by building and custom box. I mean dude u want to spent $600 on an sub. well sence u want to spend low and keep the money. Shit just give it to me so i can by an sub cuz my brother killed mine.

and yeah get the shiva, it will get louder than the JLw3v2

what would be the difference of the shiva in a ported vs. sealed box be? and also what would be the best volumes for each. and what type of board should i use--mdf?

all depends on power. 1.5 per sub is perfect for shivas usually... ported at least 2 cubes each i hear. mdf is perfect.

yup and tune it to like 35hz or 37hz.

but u do not down JL audio, they are goood subs, but just over priced.
