Lets say someone buys something from you but wants you to ship it to another address, not on there paypal I can get screwed right?

Yes you can get screwed and I had a similar situation and forgot to change the address and it went to his old one and he demanded a refund because he never got it. I'll admit it was MY mistake it went to the old address but I'll never know if he actually got it or not.

don't do it. the nice guy that I am I did it for 2 memebers on here and both guys disputed the charge after they got the item. good thing one clown was local and I went to that bitch's house and got my stuff back.

Yep dont do it, ship to the address in paypal. I got screwd $30 something, not a big deal, but it becomes your fault

I did that but did delivery confirmation. If you can prove they asked you to ship it there and have proof that it was delivered then no problems.

this is not true what so ever. I provided an e-mail from the person that sent the dispute. e-mail addy was the same paypal had and they said they cannot do anything about a previous arrangement when it does not conform to paypal policy.

It is easy to add an address to your paypal account. Tell them if they want it shipped there, they need to add the address to their account.

I have done it recently, but I was told by a Paypal Customer Service Rep to get signature confirmation. That way they couldn't dispute the fact that they didn't receive the package at that address

rumblenthetrunk shipped to my current address which is different from my paypal account...package arrived(was not home) left outside and no signature :/ UPS. it all worked out though. missed opportunity:crap:shoulda scammed his ***. BUT SERIOUS good dude

you can get ripped off easier on paypal than through the us postal service sending a dam money order. its called legal action. learn how to use it when you get owned
