Hey everyone, stumbled onto this site and decided I ought to give it a try. I'm not super knowledgeable about Subs/Amps and the whole idea of it. But I do have a 12" sub sitting in the back seat of my Dodge Dakota (Sheep as I call it). View attachment 26551183 There she sits. Got the Sub & Amp for free from a buddy and decided to throw it in. Sounds pretty decent, the box is definitely not anywhere near the correct size for it. Buddy cut it down to fit behind his back seat when he had it. Welcome to Ca.com! It's always good to see someone else getting the "audio" bug, lol. Lot's of audio brand's will be thrown at you, and it will probably become overwhelming. Just take a step back, research a little more and realize it's your system, and will ultimately have to satisfy YOUR needs. Whether it's Monetary, or sound quality, space, or a combination of those, there will be a setup that will cover's all your needs.

Just remember to take it slow and research. Maybe take a trip to a couple Car Audio Competitions and demo some different brands and setups. This will probably help a lot.
