[QUOTE="phaze23lbc, post: 2033700, member: 566819"] I know that TC Sounds is coming out with these in a bit: This one is not on the site yet, but should be before not toooo long. Its a 10" in wall sub that is only 3" deep! We use a huge neo slug outside the coil and copper vc for high BL product. Ideal for very tiny boxes or... walls! This one will install into a standard wall in any just about house. Its also idea for small cars that can’t fit huge drivers. You can potentially make a subwoofer box that can fit right under your seat. 12" version may come later but it will be 3.8" deep so it won’t work in walls, but can still work in many slim areas where space is a premium. Prices: $309 for the 12 TC-SMT NEO DVC-Al $275 for the 10 TC-SMT NEO DVC-Al $285 for the 12 TC-SMT NEO SVC-Cu $248 for the 10 TC-SMT NEO SVC-Cu the Cu's (copper vc) will be geared for small in-wall applications or very tiny boxes. The Al's (aluminum vc)will have a much low impedance and can be used in a larger (small) box These prices are higher than most all shallow mount subwoofers, but these drivers use more neo and have more excursion so they should be able to embarrass the competition. Originally we used a 70 dollar piece of neo inside each one, but that was far too costly, and I don't think people would have wanted to pay for what it would cost for us to prophet, so we optimized the magnet shape to reduce the price without much compromise to the power of the motor. Neo is not cheap and that’s why it’s used to rarely. Also not many companies have the magnetizers to even magnetize neo, but we do.
