[QUOTE="TurdFergueson2, post: 4678155, member: 579108"] [\QUOTE]that how it is and probably always will be. Once they get bigger and start generating the profits the beast grows, mergers may happen, and the small guys get commercialized. I remember back when scott and dave ran RE out of warehouse in Nevada. You pray for the upcoming brand to keep its superior quality at an affordable price, but usually one of the 2 will sacrifice and sooner or later you have another JL audio. Personally i like the small companies and how they run things. Each entity's eventually goal is to become the leader in the market, and it's a cycle that continues year after year. IMO it's the smaller companies know wtf they are doing best. I'm not saying they pitch to Best buy, but local mom and pop shops here don't carry the small name/great quality stuff. Everybody who's loud here more than likely is running the same setup. I just want to see in my local shop a Sundown amp or some AQ subs. But I respect their way of business too. It's a guy here that hand makes some of the loudest speakers I have ever heard, as well as a sub that weighs like 65 pounds, but he will only keep his business confined to his shop and his spot at the flea market.
