Just throwing that out there... That realy didnt seem that bad to me, If the OP of that thread took that much offense to that little comment (Which seemed light hearted enough) I bet he wont last long on here

But light moderating will not turn this site around, as that has been what dey been doin for the past year. Enemies will be made from those receiving demerits, that's just how things are.

But as you can see, he just made another possible enemy (blacktimus prime). More moderation almost always equals more enemies, it's the sad truth. But it is likely that the supporters will outweigh the haters.

There's a difference between light moderating and fair moderating. For instance, I was banned because Johnny Law was upset because I didn't give him some prize. Then slappin did the same thing and wasn't banned. I complained and that's how you gain enemies. Another time I was rightfully banned for something and I didn't complain and held nothing against the mods. If you're fair, there's nothing to complain about.

This is very true. That's why I think that infraction was a little unnecessary. Especially considering all the racist crap people post on here and nothing gets done about it.

If you read many of the threads about ca.com versus caco lately, many of the negative comments about this site revolve around the maturity level (or lack there of). I suspect this is a paradigm shift in the site's moderation staff to try and turn that situation around. IMO the t-dome could be a mini 4chan, that's fine... but that immaturity and complete lack of seriousness should not bleed through to the tech forums too.

Id chalk this up to being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and adjust your replies here to not be put in that position again.
