Ok im not sure if it is like this everywhere but in Pa you get your license and then you have to wait untill you are 18 for your senior license which allows you to be out past 11. Im 17 and i will have had my license for a year in june. I heard if you dont have any tickets or wrecks you can get it 6 months early once you have had your license, does anyone know if this is true or where i could look it up and see if it's true? Im almost to the point of where im going to take a drivers ed course just because when you take that they give your senior license as soon as the course is over .......... I hate not being aloud out past 11 plus summer is coming up and i defently am going to want to be out later..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif help please..............

In Michigan you get your first license at 16, and get your unrestricted license at 17...here there is no way to get it early, but if you get tickets they push it back. I would assume the same kind of rules for the graduated system would be in place in PA too. The one place to find out though, as mentioned, is the dmv's website. You could also try calling down to the police station.

Also, though I'm not condoning breaking the law, remember that if you're driving past 11pm without your "real" license, as long as you're not speeding, running stop signs, drunk, or breaking other laws, the police will not pull you over. They cannot see in your car to "suspect" that you "may" be under age...so drive safe like you always should be and the curfew isn't much of a problem.

The pa's dmv site.

Best thing to do would be to try to look it up on PA's DMV/BMV website, or call them on Monday.

Most reliable information is straight from the horse's mouth.

Yea i was looking around on the dmv site yesterday couldn't find it. I have no problem with driving past 11 anyways...... my parents on the other hand..... In pa there is a new law that allows them to be able to pull you over for no reason at all just to check up if they want it sucks.......
