Sold selling my Fi BTL's

I am selling my four Fi BTL 15's.

Specs:

Dual 2 ohm

5 Spider

Third Slug and Long Coil (27mm Xmax)

New Spiral Cut Cooling

These subs are rated at 2000 watts RMS, but I am running an IA 40.1 on each sub and have NEVER smelled the burning voice coil smell that was very familiar with the MT's.

They are like new. They are used, but not abused. I have had them for about 8 weeks and will be selling these to buy Ascendant Audio subs.

Asking price is $385 each shipped to the lower 48 states. These subs are $470 each new.

I want to make it clear that I will not accept paypal unless you have a confirmed shipping address. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS (PERIOD). I was burned on a paypal transaction and will not ship to an unconfirmed address. ONCE AGAIN NO EXCEPTIONS. Sorry, just wanted to stress that, since I go through this every time I sell something. . .

I did run MT's before the BTL's. MT's were a little louder on the meter, but for a daily driver, I like the BTL's. They run cooler and are stronger in the low end (they are not louder on the meter, but they sound louder just listening). Of course I could have ordered the BTL's in the SPL option, but I was looking for something more for playing music at extreme levels for long periods of time.

Think about me. . . BTL's in this configuration are $938 per pair. These are only 8 weeks old. If I get $750 for a pair, after $70 shipping and $22 paypal fees, I am left with $658. I just lost $140 PER DRIVER on subs that look and perform just like new. BTL's don't come with warranty, so that should not be a concern. . .

Another interesting thing about these is that I bought a little isuzu truck a few weeks ago to drive for gas mileage. So in all honesty, for the past 4 weeks, the suburban gets driven to church on Sundays with the family in the car (wife does not go for loud music), and that is about it. Demos here and there for friends that come over.

The cooling channels in BTL's built since November are cut in a spiral around the pole instead of straight. According to Scott, it cools the motor more uniformly. I know I have NEVER smelled the hot glue smell from these over the past 8 weeks. . .

Oh i hear ya man... I'm just not concerned about you. Lol j/p man. That's the biggest reason I hate reselling car audio, people don't factor in how much you're losing just from shipping it to them. Then they haggle you to take $20 off lol I would love to grab these off you, I've been wanting to try em' out just not havin the funds to do it sucks lol

I hear ya. I just needed to state it. The low ball offers I get are amazing. I have already offered them $100 below what it would cost someone to buy them new, and these are like new.
