seller hasn't accepted paypal payment yet

its been 8 days since ive made a paypal payment to a seller on ebay. the item is a steelpad mousepad which is for gaming and i paid 33 dollars shipped for it. when i chec my paypal account it still shows that the payment has been unclaimed so i guess hes never checced his paypal to accept the payment in the first place. what should i do about all this? should i continue to wait??

Go into your 'My eBay', click on the listing for the mousepad, then use the 'Contact eBay Member' (or whatever it says) link on the listing page. Just send a calm, courteous email stating something to the effect of "Hi! I won your item and paid promptly via PayPal but my account is showing that you have not accepted the payment as of yet. If possible could you please advise me both on when you'll be accepting that payment as well as shipping it out to me so that I can arrange to have someone here to accept the shipment upon its arrival? Any help and/or information you can provide would be greatly appreciated."

I've found that if ya kill 'em with kindness sellers will usually get it in gear. Failing that you might have to go through eBay and report your seller as a 'Non-Performing Seller' and then follow that process to eventually get your money back.

crap, i already emailed and ttold him i was geting impatient and it would be nice if he replied. i ended it saying something like i was just checcing to see if youre still alive. haha is that bad? i figured he might be some little kid (since i am buying an fps gaming mousepad off of him.. and he has only 1 ebay point.)
