Hey fellas, Ok i gotta know what will hit the hardest in a 33' x 16' x 21' inch SPL box with a 14' x 2 inch SPL port on the topside, So what i need yall to tell me is what will this harder? I can run 2 12' inch infinty PERFECTS or 3 Rockford Fosgate Hx2, PUNCH OR POWER Series? i gotta know punch or power and what kind of amp would be the best to power these monsters. thanks.

of ur choices, the power fosgate hx2's with a bd 1500.1 amp will rock the **** out of ur car.... people will be able to hear u from 2 streets away, cuz people can hear me from 2 streets away and all i'm running is 2 he2's running about 300 watts each sub. but u'll be running 1 more sub and more than twice the power i am.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I finished installing a 6.5 cft. slot ported enclosure with 2 12" power hx2's. In the back of a Blazer. He is running a BD1000.1 to each. It's hard to think in that guy's Blazer. Makes my eyes water //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

3 HX2s will be louder (more SPL).

I reccomend an MTX 81000D amp. It'll put out a bit more wattage than a RF BD1500.1and you can pick one up for 410 bucks.

Not to dis Rockford amps, but they're a little pricey for what you get.

Is your port round or slotted? If it's round I hate to tell you but your very likely gonna have yourself some nasty port noise. I hope it's sloted, but anyways in your 6.42 cubic foot box I'd toss a pair of the power hx2's in and give them mondo power. Hx2's are a big contender for good reason //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You can over come this by rounding the edges of the port tube. Or by buying aeroports. All ports regardless of shape can be subject to port noise if not designed or installed correctly.

Without a photo this is the best I could come up with, note the "physical port length" is at 22.5" and if you measured down the portwall to get...

I had two of the Xtreme 12's and they were dual 4ohm. They read at like 3.5ohm per voice coil which is common.
