Well I got my 12" SE today and got it all wired and put in the ported box. I still havent hooked it up in my car yet. I think for some reason parts express lost my order so theres gonna be a delay on the ssf. I was thinking about breaking it in with a 30Hz to 70 Hz test tone sweep. Would I be risking anything doing this without the ssf? I will set my gains at 23 so would 12/35 volume be enuff to break it in?

What you do his start out with small amounts of volume or gain and then slowly increase it until the sub has had about 6 hours minimal I would say.

ur tuned to ~32, so a long as u dont play anything too below that u should be fine

im tuned to 30hz and i have my SSF off

How would i know if im playing something below that tho? I was planning on breaking it in with some test tone sweep but im just gonna use regular music at low volumes now.
