SE Reconed into SX??

Maybe this is a really noobish question but could an SE potentially be reconed with SX soft parts? I know the motor looking so similar may mean nothing, but just a question I had rattling around my head. Thanks

I only wonder because if I blow my SE sometime down the line I would like to try an SX... And all the enclosure specs are the same as the SE according to the RE website...

Yes and no... the old versions of the SEs could be reconed with SX/XXX soft parts. The newer versions (last 3+ years) cant without having rubbing issues. Although there are flat wind coils that do fit in the SE gaps floating around...
