SE? HC? Special SE or HC?

Not sure what to really think?

People at my local shop say the HC is louder than the SE... and has more potential to get way louder. But I hear people on here saying that the SE is louder.

I'll be sending my SE in for a recone here possibly and maybe get things changed over to a Special SE. How much more output is there going to be? I understand what they do to make them "special" but am I going to really notice a big difference in SPl?

Loyd I'm pretty much aiming this at you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

BTW

How long do you think me SE would last with another 850d on there? Roughly 2000 watts? It's taken 1200 pretty good so far.

well loyd already answered this once, for me.. so i'll just tell you what he told me..

basically the se is louder at HIGHER notes.. by higher notes im pretty sure it's meant the 65+ htz range... the less fun to listen to bass...

but when it comes to the low stuff.. the 35 to like 15 or something like that.. the hc dominates. it SOUNDS much louder than the se, but isnt louder on paper... so it depends on if you wanna db drag or just SOUND loud.. cuz EVERYONE knows 20 htz carries WAY more than 65 or 70.

*(edit)* also, he said the se's were only like .6 a decible louder than hcs...

so look at hcs as a spectacular sql sub...

Well ****. I guess I got some things mixed up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
