Hello, I’m theowner of a Ford Fiesta Titatinum with the Sony Radio car + the original Sony speakers. Since the beginning I found that the highs of my speakers were quite loud on some music. So I went to a car specialist in France, at first to change my speaker. They advise me directed to add an amp / sub, telling me that the sound was pretty good but it lacked a bit of punch and bass. What I also noticed. So here I am with a preamp / sub « Focal Ibus 2.1 » install by the car specialist. Indeed I actually have more bass but my speakers are always loud. I adjust the preamp through several tutorial that I could follow on the internet, which gives me this result: https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2019/40/3/1570028652-20191002-170155.jpg Unfortunately, even playing with the EQ of my Sony car radio, I can not remedy this problem, especially that I can only change the treble, medium and bass. And of course, the range of sound that sparkles the sound, is obviously not around the treble and medium defined by Sony. So I'm going on an EQ app to Android (I only listen to music bluetooth with Apple Music on an Android device). Thanks to the app, I manage to achieve a slightly better result but there are still frequencies (especially on high-pitched vocals) that still scream ... I was wondering if we could not do something about it amp? It is supposed to "improve the sound" if I understood everything? Someone would have an idea or advice? Thank you in advance !
